It has doubled down on its commitment to serve its customers through philanthropic programs that help local communities. With a mix of charitable initiatives, JetBlue has set its sights on employee and customer giving through its years of operations.

JetBlue is Setting an Example on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Through the JetBlue for Good philanthropic arm, the airline regularly contributes to causes that focus on the betterment of the environment, community, as well as youth and education. Under the umbrella of JetBlue for Good, the company has successfully managed several charitable initiatives, such as labeling November as the JetBlue for Good Month, and offering grants to local nonprofits to help their causes.

JetBlue for Good Grant Helped Local Charities
In a continued effort to give back to the society, JetBlue executed a plan to give $25,000 to three nonprofits in the month of November 2018. The recipients of the grant were selected through a public submission program, which was open to customers from the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The recipients of the grant were announced on World Kindness Day, November 13, 2018. Through this effort, JetBlue aimed to help local communities in the departments of youth and education development, environmentally friendly programs, and community welfare.

The Aim is to Empower Employees and Customers
The larger goal of launching such initiatives is for JetBlue employees and customers to feel empowered. That is why, the company’s efforts have a direct impact on areas where most of its employees and customers are based. This includes programs that focus on making books accessible to kids, making air travel affordable for those with autism, and raising funds for different nonprofits.

The company aims to encourage people to spread acts of kindness through their own programs that help local communities, and give back to causes that make employees appreciate their association with JetBlue areas.
